I feel the love that a poem can express pulsing in my heart. It can sound so beautiful – the vibration of joy resonating so brightly, the love for nature sounding through pages, my devotion to God singing between the lines. The joy of playing with language leaps with me over Bach and Bernstein.

There are many reasons why I love to write. My first steps into the world of words were, quite literally, stumbling ones. As a child, words did not flow easily from my lips, and at times my clumsy stammer was met with smiles. I learned to rise above it and to conceal it more and more, so that later, as a teenager, it was hardly noticeable. And yet – the fear of opening my mouth was stronger than ever. When I discovered the many possibilities of the written word, I felt a deep sense of relief.

Writing gave me safety. I could prepare. I could learn by heart. When prepared, I found words more easily in conversation, and the stress lessened. Unfortunately, people are not very patient. For a long time, this was a reason for me to prefer written communication rather than feeling the pressure of having to find words quickly. A song, a poem – they are also forms of communication, aren’t they?

Even though today I have learned to express myself verbally, mostly clearly and understandably in spoken language (unless it is a language I have not yet fully mastered), my love for writing has remained with me. Now, this love expresses itself mainly in set-to-music texts, poems about love and the Divine, and explanatory writings. Through music, I found a medium that allows me to combine both – my deep connection to sound and to word. Here on this page, I am truly happy to share with you my creative creations from the world of words.

A characteristic feature of my work is its multicultural and multilingual quality. From an early age, I felt most at home in culturally diverse environments, and this desire to build bridges – between cultures, between languages, between people, between souls – is strongly reflected in my books and creative work. You may therefore find songs, compositions, or books in German, English, Italian, French, Latin, and most recently, Portuguese.
