I’m Maria Julia, a love-dedicated soul from the picturesque landscapes of Austria, now living a blissful life with my wonderful husband, Indra, in the sun-kissed beauty of Portugal. Our journey together has been one of profound discovery, love, and a shared passion for vibrant, plant-based living.
A Spiritual and Culinary Journey
My life has been a tapestry of spiritual exploration and culinary creativity. Embracing a vegan and plant-based lifestyle has deepened my connection to the earth and to the divine energy that flows through all things. Here in Portugal, surrounded by nature’s bounty, I’ve found the perfect setting to create and share recipes that nourish both body and spirit. I experienced life in very different settings such as yurts and caravans, wooden city house and mountain stone house. This gave me the possibility to explore various recipes adapted to specific set-ups of kitchens (tiny, without oven, outdoors etc).
Character of my food lifestyle
My cuisine developed into one that is fully based on the principle of Love. It is influenced by wisdom coming through while speaking with the Divine. It further emphasizes the Hindu sattvic way of preparing food (onion-free, garlic-free, fresh, local, loving throughout the process).
